One of the most important elements of any EMR system is the Patient Chart. The MEDENT Patient Summary Chart has a flexible design which lets you completely customize the order and sequence of the data to be viewed. Each provider has their own customized view, and each individual user can customize how the information is viewed. Display new items to the chart in bold print for immediate identification. Use the Chart Time Line feature to take all the data in the chart and present all the information in the chart in sequence from newest to oldest. Important information is displayed in red. The Patient's photo displays as a thumbnail can be expanded with a single click. For offices that use dictation, a transcription voice note can be instantly recorded. The Chart also has the Bookmark Toolbar, which allows for direct shortcut access to many areas of the EMR, lists, medical equipment interfaces and Internet links to outside sites. Each user can personalize their own BMTB.

Preferences can also be set in the chart per user. For example, users can choose to have the patient's Disease Management Status automatically pop up when entering the chart if the patient is due for Disease Management and Health Maintenance.
