Connecting pharmacists with prescribers to help reduce prescription issues is one of our goals at MEDENT. That’s why we were thrilled to receive a 2022 Surescripts White Coat AwardTM as an RxChange Champion!
The White Coat Award shines a spotlight on the efforts healthcare organizations are making to improve prescription accuracy. This award is Surescripts’ highest recognition for those who have adopted best practices and technology enhancements that demonstrate their commitment to improving patient safety and healthcare delivery.
The RxChange Champion award highlights organizations successfully advancing the RxChange transaction, which lets pharmacies communicate with prescribers to resolve prescription concerns within their electronic workflow.
In addition to the RxChange Champion White Coat Award, MEDENT has received several other awards from Surescripts in years past. In 2018, MEDENT was recognized as one of two EHR systems for Most Improved Accuracy, and in 2019, it received a White Coat Award for its efforts made to advance ePrescribing accuracy.
These White Coat Awards are part of the Surescripts performance optimization program, which has brought experts together from across the healthcare industry since 2016.
