MEDENT interfaces with Exact Sciences Laboratories to order and receive results from Cologuard.
How does it work?
PATIENT sends sample
The patient mails their stool sample back to Exact Sciences, which conducts a thorough colorectal cancer screening test.
results
Exact Sciences sends the results electronically to MEDENT, which updates the Acquired Date and Status of the patient's order.
Cancellations made by Exact Sciences will update the lab order in the patient’s chart. The Acquired Date will remain 00/00/00 as no specimen was returned to the lab and the Status will be updated to Declined/Cancelled. Reference ranges may include SCNBP (Sample Could Not Be Processed) or NRO (No Result Obtained).
