Access CareSelect from within a diagnostic imaging order in MEDENT! Simply click a button to open CareSelect’s imaging tool in MEDENT’s embedded browser and conduct an AUC check.
How does it work?
Search.
Search for a reason for the exam within CareSelect's imaging tool in MEDENT's embedded browser.
Select the reason.
Under the search results, check the box next to the reason for the exam.
Review.
Review the results, ranked most to least appropriate. You can also see the cost and radiation comparisons.
Confirm, replace or cancel.
Confirm, replace or cancel the order based on the AUC information.
The NDSC button will highlight in red when an AUC check needs to be done on a Diagnostic Imaging exam listed within the order.
