As the end of the year approaches, we would like to review year-end procedures for December 31, 2025.
NOTE: The above schedule is in Eastern Standard Time (EST). We will have a limited number of representatives available to assist you in regaining access to your medent data.
There is no special procedure you must follow. When you change the date to the new year, the medent system will automatically zero out the patient YTD dollar amounts for you.
For practices who use the auto month/year rollover and the auto archive, there is no need to do anything different and the system will take care of it.
For practices who do not use the auto month/year rollover and whose fiscal year-end is December 31, 2025, you should follow the same procedure that you use for a normal month end and answer “YES” Start New Fiscal Year.
Reports need to be run for the period ending before running the archive and can only be run for the current month after the archive is run. The program will automatically zero out the provider year-to-date financial data when the archive is run. You will need to archive during the first month of the new fiscal year.
