We’re excited to introduce a new way to stay informed with MEDENT Mobile Push Notifications! This latest enhancement gives users the option to receive alerts directly through push notifications on their mobile device, rather than via traditional text or email.

Whether you’re away from your desk or just prefer a more streamlined communication method, push notifications offer a faster, more reliable way to stay connected to what’s happening in MEDENT.

Why Push Notifications?

Push notifications are a smart alternative to text messages and emails. They’re: 

Instant: Get real-time alerts without needing to check your inbox or text messages. 

Secure: Notifications come straight from MEDENT Mobile, so there is no risk of them getting lost in spam folders or intercepted. 

Non-intrusive: Unlike texts, push notifications respect your mobile device settings and notification preferences. 

Centralized: All of your alerts stay in one place, not scattered across different platforms. 

What Can You Be Notified About? 

Depending on your settings, push notifications can be used to alert you to things like:

Triages: Specific reason codes can be selected. Notification preferences can be set for each triage rating.

Documents: Specific document codes can be selected. Notification preferences can be set for each document rating.

Lab Orders Received: Notification preferences can be set for Routine, Timed and Stat/Urgent statuses.

Video Visits: Users can configure to send notifications to themselves when a Video Visit is scheduled. Options are never, scheduled same day or always. 

How to Enable It

To start receiving push notifications:

1. Within MEDENT Mobile, press the gear icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. 

2. Select Notifications. 

3. Select Push from the different available methods. 

4. Customize your preferences. Choose to be notified Never, Only when logged out or Always and configure the different areas. 

Once set up, you’ll get real-time alerts exactly when you need them. Simply click the push notification to open MEDENT Mobile.
