MEDENT has partnered with Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO) to offer clients a new, clinically-focused set of terminology, which IMO has curated with the help of subject matter experts to make patient data as robust and comprehensive as possible.
The IMO Search can be used in MEDENT's Diagnosis Selection Screen and Problem List Selection Screen. Search for specific terms, or search for general terms and drill down to the most specific and accurate term for each individual patient.
That term may be a 1:1 match to a code in an existing set MEDENT uses, such as ICD-10 or SNOMED, or it may map to multiple codes. When an IMO term is selected, all codes necessary to fully represent that diagnosis are added to the patient's chart.
MEDENT's Problem List can be sorted based on IMO clinical categories (e.g. cardiology, behavioral, neurological). The IMO Cleanup screen will display suggestions for cleaning up the problem list. Problems that may have lapsed, duplicates or related will display with the option to mark them resolved or inactive.
